A Message from Our Founder
Thank you for wanting to help people have enough food… especially with the current government shutdown. You have at least two ways to help.
Our Lions club provides free meals and groceries every Monday evening at the Morro Bay Vet Hall. We purchase and acquire grocery items from the SLO Food Bank and fresh rescue food from local merchants.
We try to have 350 to 500 lb. of groceries each week which is free to those who come for meals or to just pick up some groceries.
To support this effort you can make a check payable to:

Why Give?
Every donation—whether large or small—helps us:
- Deliver weekly community dinners, fund scholarships, and support other local nonprofits including the SLO Food Bank.
- Serve 700+ Thanksgiving meals annually (distributed via drive-thru and home delivery to those in need).
- Support our Car Giveaway Program: awarding over 40 vehicles to individuals who gain independence and opportunity through reliable transportation.
- Fund essential vision screenings and provide eyeglasses to children and adults lacking access to affordable care.
