Joining the Morro Bay Lions means stepping into a long tradition of local service, friendship, and community leadership. Active Member (Recommended)
Short description: Full membership with all rights and responsibilities. Most new Lions join as Active Members.
Who it’s for: People who want to participate regularly, vote in club business, be eligible for leadership roles, and pay regular dues.
Rights & responsibilities
- Vote at club meetings.
- Hold office and serve on committees.
- Attend service projects and meetings regularly.
- Pay club dues (amounts set by the club).

Affiliate Member

How the Club Decides Membership Type
- The applicant indicates a preferred type on the form.
- The Membership Committee reviews each application, may interview or invite you to an event, and then recommends action to the Board.
- Final assignment and approval are by the Morro Bay Lions Board of Directors, in keeping with Lions Clubs International procedures.
